Soul Connection
Read This Week: Genesis 2
Then, the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden, and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” But for Adam, no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. – Genesis 2:7-8 & 18-25 NIV
In the first chapter of Genesis, we see God as the supreme and sovereign creator of the universe. He has no equal and no material in the cosmos superior to Him nor possesses His mighty power to speak things into existence, curate, and sustain them. In Chapter 2, we begin to see an unfolding of God’s versatility and personal nature as the designer and initiator of all things. This section introduces the clarifying truth that while God is transcendent and incomparable, He remains ever-personal and relational to what He has made.
The idea of God’s relational nature to His creation is seen immediately in this chapter by a new attachment to His name. In Genesis 1, the text refers to Him only as God (Elohim), but in Genesis 2, He has the name Lord (Jehova) accompanied, which implies something else about His nature and character. Jehova is a personal name for God and means “I am the One who is,” indicating that God is not an almighty, aloof master of the universe who creates and then stands far back from His creation uninvolved. Instead, He has an ever-present nature that sees, knows, and is with us. The Bible commentator Bruce Waltke wrote:
In Scripture, the term God represents Him as a Sovereign Creator, while Lord shows Him as one who initiates a unique covenant commitment with Adam and Abraham and oversees its fulfillment in history.
This understanding of the Lord God seen in Chapter 2 is important to note and have in view as we read what develops in verses 7-25 with the creation of man and woman. Verse 7 says that man was formed from the dust of the ground, and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. The Lord God exhaled his very essence into man, showing that humans have the breath of God sustaining them and giving them life. It is an amazing thought that God cared for us and valued us so much that we would initiate our creation with His own life-giving breath. He didn’t just use the ground to form us but rather placed His vitality in us to bring us to life. To be a living being (v.7b) is to have a soul, eternal value, meaning, and purpose, not just a collection of cells made from the dirt barreling toward an inevitable end.
Now, this living man with a soul and purpose is put in this perfect place called Eden (v.15) to take care of and enjoy it. It has beautiful, fertile trees and plants nourished by four rivers. In the middle of all this is a tree that God tells the man he cannot eat from – the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He tells Adam explicitly that if he eats from it or partakes of its fruit, he will surely die (v.17). After this declaration, the Lord sees that it is not good for man to be alone (v.18), so he brings animals, birds, and livestock to him for companionship and to give them names. But Adam must realize that this will not satisfy God’s relational design for people and the longing for community placed in his heart. So, God waits until Adam is prepared to appreciate this most precious gift, and then He creates woman (v.22).
It is hard to find a more beautiful and intimate picture in all of the Scriptures than God creating woman from man and bringing her to him to form this holy union. It encapsules all that is good about relationships and human connection. It sets the tone for how we are designed to be with one another and to experience a bond and intimacy between us that no other living thing on earth can fully feel. It is also the first picture of marriage and the interdepency that it should express when done according to God’s will. The scene is so poignant and moving that Adam recites a poem to honor Eve and the relationship they will share. He says in verse 23:
This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.
May we value our relationships with the same care, appreciation, and consideration. May we see people as living beings with an eternal purpose that God beautifully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). May it enrich, deepen, and strengthen all of our connections and see them as our relational Lord does.
Genesis 2
God wanted me to focus on verse 24 AMPC
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
God said to me on this:
“When you have your true love you feel a sense of connection. That connection runs deeper than surface level/ you are intertwined spiritually, your flesh connected and in sync. You know the feeling when you have it. For some it is right away and others later, but when it is there you will know it. Embrace that feeling and become one, full of My love and without hesitation.”
This is so important to our entire existence and beyond. When God gives us those divine personal, business or love connections it is so important to embrace them. It works the same way when God gives you that gut feeling to stay away from someone. If we consult with God and truly listen to Him every time we have a connection, then we will be on the right path and with those that are important to our journey.
Genesis Chapter 2 Verse 19
And out of the ground, the Lord God formed every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name.
Genesis Chapter 2 Verse 20
And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wlld] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
~Honorable Service~
God Is Saying To Me:
I created man in my likeness and image. I gave him purpose and a spirit of innocence. I trusted him with the naming of all the animal kingdom. I wanted to show the man the different relationships of compatibility by attending and working in Eden., so he could see that God’s fulfillment would not be whole without companionship. The companionship can’t be made whole with just animals. Adam is human and needs someone of light compatibility because the beginning of humanity will revolve around this aspect and our faithfulness to Father God.
What This Means To Me:
It’s a great honor for man to be charged with naming the animal kingdom because that gives him responsibility and God trusts him to begin to use his god-given wisdom and intellect to be of service to God. God also honored the man by giving him a name, Adam. For us today, God gives us authority and innocent intellect with which to honor and serve Him in all things that we do. Also. It’s of upmost importance and honor that we continue to serve God and represent well.
Thank you Father. Son and Holy Spirit for the creation of the heavens and the earth, man and all of its inhabitants. I love you. ❤️❤️❤️
This is what I got from Genesis 2. In this chapter, I rested on the seventh day to give an example of the blessing of rest, to man on the seventh day. This was a gift to man for a day of rest and replenishment. Every day is a day of rest in the finished work of My Son, Jesus Christ. With My divine breath man became a “living being.” Only man is a “living being” made in My image. I put My spirit within him. The “tree of Life” was to grant eternal life. My “tree of life” is still available to My people, which is in heaven. The tree of the “knowledge of good and evil” was the temptation tree. I put Adam in the “garden of Eden” to do work. I want your love and obedience to Me, to be the love and obedience of choice. I never intended for man to be alone, so I created woman to be with him, as a suitable helper. Man is to be responsible and accountable to be the leader in the home. Woman is to be responsible and accountable to help him. Woman is an equal partner in My grace, and an equal human being. I used Adam’s own body to create Eve to forever remind him of their essential oneness. For Adam and Eve to be “naked and unashamed” means you have no sin, , nothing to be ashamed of, and nothing to hide. I see everything and I know everything you do. Nothing is hidden from Me. You want to be hidden and you want to only reveal to others what you want to reveal. Do not look for acceptance in others. Look only to Me for your acceptance. I love you for you.
What this said to me was we were made in His image, and His Spirit is within me. It is very important for us to take the time to rest in Him. Everyday I have choices to make, and He will show me what to do. God knows everything I say and I do. Nothing is hidden from Him. I need to look only to God for acceptance, and no one else.

He created everything for you and I from the heavens to the Earth, the animals plants water from the darkness to the light the mountains and streams what a good good father, we have let’s be servants of our Lord ,servants of our Lord let’s be servants of the Lord, helping others to learn about our Lord

Thank you Lord we get your unconditional Love. Because when we have a personal relationship and ask for your forgiveness your forgive. We want you in the middle of everything we do. God is always good and will help us through.
In Genesis 2:18 Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper as a partner for him.
im. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 And the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man He made (fashioned, formed) into a woman, and He brought her and presented her to the man. 23 Then Adam said,
“This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed or embarrassed.
God was saying to me
I made a man and a woman for a purpose, that’s where the family begins and continues to grow with Me!
It’s important to put Me first in all you do and say!
There will be people that will try to separate you, but with Me I know what you need before you even ask so it’s important to seek Me on your own for your heart , but it’s very important to seek me with the one I have given you, you 2 are one, when you do things together it is good, when you help each other it is good, when you come to me to help you, iI help you in the way that I know what’s best.
Continue in your love for one another with always remember that I Am with you to help you 2 to grow stronger and stronger in OUR love!
What this means to me is I’m so thankful to my Father God for putting us together and given us our Pastor Randy that helped us to put God first in our relationship with Him and each other!

In life you will have people and stuff that try’s to pull you away from each other!
But when you put God first in the midst of it all he helps you to get closer and closer
It’s amazing how He gives you what you need when you seek Him with your whole heart

Helping each other out, and being okay inside when you don’t feel like doing it ,when you do it for God He blesses you\0/
